About Me

I grew up in Portland, OR and have lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life. I love everything that this area has to offer and enjoy spending lots of time outside hiking, biking, running, kayaking, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and lots more! I love animals and have two adorable (I'm clearly biased) pitbull pups and I enjoy spending time with my partner, family, and friends when I am not working.  I have always enjoyed hearing people's stories and learning more about where they came from.

I attended Seattle Pacific University for my undergraduate degree in Psychology and lived in Seattle for seven years. I moved back to Portland after that and pursued by Masters in Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University; where I graduated in 2016. My professional experience includes working with adults with disabilities through counseling and employment services, working with the National Eating Disorder Association on their hotline,  and providing counseling to adolescents and adults. I currently work as a counselor to individuals as well as families, and provide employment services to individuals with disabilities as well.
